Services

Psychotherapy and counseling may be covered under your health insurance plan if it includes coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. Please note that coaching is not covered by insurance.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach designed to support individuals dealing with psychologically distressing and mental health challenges, such as depression and anxiety. It draws from clinical psychology and neuroscience, focusing on cognitive restructuring and building mental resilience, emotional regulation skills, and healthier coping strategies.
 

I use an integrative approach, combining various therapeutic modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Additionally, I incorporate interactive, holistic somatic techniques for nervous system healing, including breathwork and polyvagal therapy.

 

If desired, I can also integrate therapeutic art into our sessions.

As a therapist, I prioritize both brain and emotional health in treatment planning. My approach is holistic, incorporating lifestyle support to promote overall well-being alongside emotional growth and healing.

Counseling

Counseling is a form of “talk therapy” that can be a proactive way to nurture your emotional and spiritual well-being, when you're not dealing with a specific mental health issue. It can also provide gentle guidance.
 

Christian counseling is especially beneficial for clients seeking spiritual support through a biblical lens. I offer this service to teens, adults, and couples, including pre-marital counseling. I’m passionate about helping people build lives, careers, and relationships that align with their values.
 

Counseling can serve as a valuable sounding board—a safe space for individuals to explore and unpack their faith and felt experiences.

Group coaching 

Available Spring 2025. 

 

Coaching (group format) is NOT psychotherapy nor counselling but provides people with wellness and community support rather than clinical interventions. It’s designed to empower clients with practical tools for personal growth and development in their area of interest.
 

I offer group coaching in the following areas:

  • Personal Development

  • Lifestyle Design

My goal is to help you emotionally and mentally heal from barriers that keep you stuck in stress responses, while supporting you in growing self-compassion, building resilience, and improving coping strategies.

Using evidence-based therapies, I empower clients to become their most authentic, self-advocating selves so you can flourish and thrive.
